Images of the Emirates, with a foreword by H.H. Sheikh Butti Maktoum Bin Juma Al Maktoum, is the first in a series of books with images from the collection of Cecilia Green. It is a compilation of more than 200 photographs and records her time in Dubai from 1963 to 1971 and the journeys she made around the Emirates (known then as the Trucial States). Excerpts from Cecilia’s letters to her family in Sweden are used as the book’s narrative.
